Placement of signs, banners and posters in public space is controlled by the Cleanliness and Orderliness of the Country Act B.E. 2535 (1992) and enforced by the district office, which can order removal and issue fines. We quote only positions that can be permitted, and we tell you at quote stage when a position cannot.
Under the Signboard Tax Act B.E. 2510 (1967) the owner of a sign pays an annual signboard tax to the local authority, calculated on the area of the sign and on whether it carries Thai text, foreign text, or both. We give you the finished dimensions and the language split so your accountant can file the return. Filing and paying the tax remains your responsibility, not ours.
False or misleading advertising is prohibited by the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979). Food, cosmetics, medical devices, health services, alcohol and tobacco carry further restrictions under Food and Drug Administration rules and the Alcohol Beverage Control Act B.E. 2551 (2008). Responsibility for advertising content rests with the advertiser, though we will flag an obvious problem before we print rather than after.
Rooftop frames and pole structures are built to calculations signed by a licensed engineer where the Engineer Act B.E. 2542 (1999) requires it. We carry public liability cover for installation work, our crews are trained and equipped for work at height, and copies of the relevant certificates are available on request before a job starts.
Fabrication and workmanship carry a twelve month warranty from handover. LED modules and drivers carry the manufacturer warranty passed through to you. Storm damage, impact, unauthorised alteration and work by others are excluded. The exact terms for your job are written on the handover sheet you sign.
Call us first, then put it in writing to support@tpsigntech.com. We acknowledge within two working days and answer within seven. If we cannot resolve it, you may take the matter to the Office of the Consumer Protection Board or to the courts of Bangkok.
